Embrace Your Voice Through Khmer MUN

Be a leader and guide my teammates, “how to write a resolution paper”.

Being a delegate of any nation, your role is to represent your country position in the house discussion; therefore, being Netherland’s delegate I commit to be knowledgeable on LGBTQ+ community and persuade my fellow delegates to favor my submitted-resolution. I was the main submitter — my first time. I gave speeches with factual-claims and well-represented for my country.  Still, in this conference, I had two collaborators from outside; it was their first-time in Model United Nations; I had to explain everything in Khmer which I wasn’t prepared for. Regardless of any obstacles in transiting myself into Khmer MUN, it was yet an unforgettable experience and the best MUN I had done before: I gave many speeches and asking a lot of questions.  

I embrace my acknowledge and opinion through giving speeches and asking questions.

Rango Frisbee Team Phnom Penh

ស្រីនាង គឺជាកីឡាការនីម្នាក់របស់ ក្រុមប៊ីហ្វេស និងក្រុមរេនហ្គូ ដែលអាចបាននិយាយថា នាងពិតជាចូលចិត្តលេង ហ្វីសប៊ី​ណាស់។ ជារៀងរាល់សប្តាណ៍ ថ្ងៃ​ពុធ នាងចូលរួមលេង ជាមួយមិត្តភ័ក្តនៅសាលារបស់នាង។​ នៅថ្ងៃព្រហស្បតិ៍ នាងបង្ហាត់បង្រៀនកីឡាការនីរបស់ សម្ព័ន្ធកីឡាថាសហោះយុវតីកម្ពុជា នៅខេត្តកំពង់ស្ពឺ។ នៅថ្ងៃអាទិត្យ នាងចូលរួមប្រគួតជាមួយនិង សិស្សឆ្បងរបស់នាង នៅទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ។ នាងធ្លាប់បានទៅប្រគួតថ្នាក់អន្តរជាតិ នៅទីក្រុងម៉ានេលឡា កាលពីឆ្នាំ២០១៦។ ហេតុដូចនេះ ការលេងហ្វីសប៊ីបានផ្លាស់ប្តូរផ្នត់គំនិតរបស់នាង ពីអន្ថន័យនៃការលេងកីឡា។ នាងដឹងថា កីឡាករ និង​ កីឡាការនី ចង់ឈ្នះ តែការឈ្នះ អាចចែករំលែក និង លូតលាស់ទាំងអស់គ្នា។ ដូច្នេះ នាងសន្យាថា នៅតែបន្តលេងហ្វីសប៊ី ព្រមទាំងផ្សព្វផ្សាយ ឲ្យអ្នកដទៃ ឲ្យទទួលបានបទបពិសោធន៍ ដូចនាងដែរ។

Sreyneang is one of the Beeforce players and Rango who passionately love playing frisbee. Weekly, on Wednesday– she plays her school league with her friends; on Saturday — she trains the First Female Frisbee League (FFFL) girl participants in Kampong Speu; on Sunday — she joins the Phnom Penh League. Her first international competition was in Manilla, 2016. From this experience, the spirit of frisbee has changes her point of view in sports; playing sport is to win but everyone will win and learn. Hence, she will keep playing frisbee and promote it to others to savor this extraordinary sport just like she did.

CubeSat’s Mentor

We are the Cubesat’s noob. We find as much as support as we possibly can to launch our cubesat by June 2020.

Today, we are meeting with a radio-expert who currently is living in Cambodia. His goal was the same as us — increase the number of interest in space-exploration. We are lucky enough to find Mike through Facebook. He has been so useful as his profession is in radio. Also, he is relevant to help us get the amateur radio technician license in Cambodia. Thus, we are always grateful to have the support from mentors and all the connections that we made. Therefore, we are not only dream big but we will also make it big.

Harry Potter Year Two: The Chamber of Secrets

Harry and his friends are the trouble-makers at the school; they wonder with everything — nothing could escape from them. In chapter 13, news spread out about the chamber of secrets that it opens again. Then, there is an attack happened to the students. One of them is Hermione, Harry’s best friend. Harry has two close friends: Hermione and Ron. Now, he has only Ron to help and discover about the chamber of secrets. Undoubtedly, the story of the chamber of secrets’ past-attack has revealed. Everyone is shocked, especially Harry and Ron, to find a guy who used to open the chamber of secrets for monsters to come out was Hagrid. Hagrid is the first person that Harry knew from Hogwarts. He guided Harry into the wizard world and get ready for his first year at Hogwarts. Hagrid is Harry’s best-mate; they talk and share about living at Hogwarts. However, Hagrid never mentioned about the chamber of secrets to Harry nor did he explain to Harry after the revelation. Hagrid is taken to the ____ until they find who caused the attack. If it really is not Hagrid!

I spend around 30-minutes every night to read this book. The Harry Potter series’ writing is distinguishable and it is depicting the scene in people’s head. I favor the writing more than the meaning. The style of writing is really creative and admirable. I plan to learn creative writing and eventually reach this level of writing.
