How I have change Cambodia?

Cambodia is a developing country. There are a lot of things that we need to do to become a developed country and people will have a better livelihood. So the kids need to go to school even poor or rich. So my school name is Liger Learning Center (LLC) in Phnom Penh. From what I have been learned here there were so many things that I have been helped to change Cambodia. If it not so big or small help, but I really happy with the smile on my face. Some of the project that I had been help Cambodia were to teach about English(Community English), Recycle Plastic, Tropical Forest Ecology (to Koh Kong and Preah Vihear), Technovation, and Sanitation.

As sanitation class I had sharing to Cambodian and oversea about sanitation (in Cambodia) like in Siem Reap and Battambang that we had visited. So after the presentation when we ask them if they want to use the sewerage system. All of them were raise their hands with a happy face. This is really important to know about sewerage system like from their house to anywhere that people don’t even know. In Siem Reap is an ecotourism place, so the place need to be clean when the tourist are coming. Also it is connected with the plastic that just keep using everyday by people. One day each person can buy and use up to ten or more plastics. The plastic take so long times like thousand of years to decompose. So we had interviewed the manager in Cintri. Cintri is the company that collect the waste in Cambodia, but now they can only collect in Phnom Penh(capital city of Cambodia). I try to use any strategy that can help to advertise for people to know more about disadvantage of the plastic. Also I told them about advantage of recycle to use it again and again.

Also in February to April there is one inspiration that I learn outside my school with the people that I never knew. Between that time I and 4 more girls making one application that can solve the social problem. So our app is call ImEx (import & export), but there are more team that join technovation to solve their social problem around the world. Our problem was that farmers and customers find it hard to find the markets for their products with a good price of their quality. This application is focus only farming product no matter outside or inside the country, but our goal is to help Cambodia first. I hope this application that I spend 2 months of my saturday and sunday in every week until 23 of April in 2015 can help the farmers and customers easier.

Also in 2015 in my school I have learned about Cambodian economy. So our goal is to create a book for Cambodian to read and learn. In their not just showing the sector to be boring, but we had included the experiences of the business man and woman in Cambodia with their experiences. Actually we have only 7 weeks to publish our book. We hope their this book will help the kids and adults in Cambodia to know and can help to develop their country.

So I am one of Cambodian people. I pledge to try my best to change my own country with a passionate of love.

I have been learning with one Exploration called Cambodian Economy. There are 12 students in my class with one teacher called Jeff Boucher. We also have goals. Our goal is to create books for Cambodian people to know about their economy, so they can help to improve their own country including us. We (will) not just study in the class, we also plan to visit other places to get more information to put in the book. The places that we have been are Men Sarun Factory and Export & Import in Koh Pich. In April there will be a trip for all the liger students (50 students) to visit with our class depending on the sectors. For example, the telecommunications sector we will go to Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia. We will learn from the experts how to publish the book for government and non-government schools.

Not only study about economy, but for two week of our exploration we have learn about engineering of chemical reaction and the life of each day students in Liger.

We had been learning about one week with Emily (the volunteer come from England). Also we had been  doing some experiences like cook the chocolate, coca cola with mentos and learn about solar system. She has a lot of lessons to teach us, but there is short time. So she has one challenge for all Liger students. The challenge is to build the bridge with any styles, so it can stand and put the dices as many the space it has.  

 

The life of day student

The other week we learn with Linzy and her boy friend. They are the photographer that want to teach all the students around world how to take a picture. It really easy when we hear take a picture, but it is hard when we start to learn. There are a lot of kind of taking picture like landscape, expectations, rule of third and bird-eye-view. Each student go to sleep at the person  (about their life) for two nights to know all the daily things she or he did. I am going with Thiny (the day students live in Phnom Penh). Her parents was really friendly to me. Everytime I go it make me so happy because I can meet her brother(the most person that play in the members) and eat snack before eat dinner. Her house is look like small, but I really to stay there.  If you gonna go to her house you will be so happy and don’t want to come back. This is how I felt.
