A period of six weeks to join one event in ISPP school. So my choice is with TEDx Talk, which is to be a part of the committee. Then we divide into a different job as my small group job is to edit the video after the speak is finished. Also, they will need to make a poster of each individual speaker quote. I like this project because I got to learn about how to organize the event. To make this happen it will need some sponsorship, places, and staff, etc. This is an amazing event for Liger’s student to join.
LITERACY 2016
In literacy class, I have read one played called “Pygmalion”. There are seven main characters, such as Eliza, Higgins, Colonel Pickering, Mrs. Pearce, Mr. Doolittle, Mrs. Higgins, and Freddy. This played is about a flower girl, Eliza has changed her identity with both internal and external. To this stage, Eliza was taught by Mr. Higgins and supported by Colonel Pickering and Mrs.Perces. Her father is Mr. Doolittle, an alcoholic man with six wives.
Eliza’s internal characteristic changes with herself confidence, knowledge of understanding, and self-respect. Below is my example evidence from the played that my group was working on.

Eliza has internally changed with her self-confidence where she first wasn’t confidence enough to speak against Higgins to at the end of the play, she looked at Higgins and had a lot of self-confidence to argue against Higgins.
(Page # 15) “[with feeble defiance] I have a right to be here if I like, same as you.” Based on, the text we can infer that at the beginning of the play Eliza was frightening to defend herself and stand up strongly for herself. In page 15 Higgins said a woman like Eliza shouldn’t stay at the Wimpole-street but Eliza responded to Higgins weakly to Higgins and try to protect herself from being a control on a lower class like Eliza.
(Page # 16) According to text in Act I from the Pygmalion Play, when Eliza first met Higgins as the notetaker in Covent Garden, she didn’t have the self-confidence to talk against hmHiggins looked down at Eliza as quoted, “A woman who utters such depressing and disgusting sounds has no right to be anywhere—no right.” Eliza didn’t look up at him with self-confidence and she wasn’t brave enough to speak against him. Instead, she was just making a sound and look at Higgins overwhelming “Ah—ah—ah—ow—ow—oo!”
(Page # 81 ) In the text, it states “[desperate] Oh, you are a cruel tyrant. I can’t talk to you: you turn everything against me: I’m always in the wrong. But you know very well all the time that you’re nothing but a bully. You know I can’t go back to the gutter, as you call it, and that I have no real friends in the world but you and the Colonel. You know well I couldn’t bear to live with a low common man after you two, and it’s wicked and cruel of you to insult me by pretending I could. You think I must go back to Wimpole Street because I have nowhere else to go but father. But don’t you be too sure that you have me under your feet to be trampled on and talked down. I’ll marry Freddy, I will, as soon as he’s able to support me.” According to the text above, Eliza is standing up to talk against Higgins because Higgins is saying something that really affects to Eliza feeling. So Eliza just stands up, talk against Higgins to defend herself from being a bully.

In the text, it states
“HIGGINS [tempted, looking at her] It’s almost irresistible. She’s so deliciously low—so horribly dirty—LIZA [protesting extremely] Ah—ah—ah—ah—ow—ow—oooo!!! I ain’t dirty: I washed my face and hands afore I come, I did.” According to the text, how Higgins sees Eliza in a poor way because she is a lack of education and raggedy clothes. This indicates that before Eliza came to Higgins laboratory, she was looking not good and very poor.

In the text, it states
“I know. I am not blaming him. It is his way, isn’t it? But it made such a difference to me that you didn’t do it. You see, really and truly, apart from the things anyone can pick up (the dressing and the proper way of speaking, and so on), the difference between a lady and a flower girl is not how she behaves, but how she’s treated. I shall always be a flower girl to Professor Higgins, because he always treats me as a flower girl, and always will; but I know I can be a lady to you, because you always treat me as a lady, and always will.” Base on the text above is that right now Eliza is behaving very well and speaking very nice to Higgins to treat her in a good way. This shows that Eliza’s knowledge have changed a lot.
The difference between a lady and a flower girl is not how she behaves, but how she’s treated.
Self Respect

In this stage, Eliza was being a flower girl. As she states: “THE FLOWER GIRL [protesting] Who’s trying to deceive you? I called him Freddy or Charlie same as you might yourself if you was talking to a stranger and wished to be pleasant. [She sits down beside her basket]. Based on this text clearly shows that Eliza did not give herself respect because of money, she could even lie to people.

“LIZA [snatching up the slippers, and hurling them at him one after the other with all her force] There are your slippers. And there. Take your slippers, and may you never have a day’s luck with them!” This text reflects Higgins thinking about his slippers. He gives the value of his slipper higher than Eliza so in that time Eliza was really sad and angry to Higgins. She has self-respect so she throws the slippers to Higgins and blames him because she wants to give herself a respect. Throughout, these two pieces of evidence it shows how much Eliza has improved her self-respect from the begin till the end of the play.
People can not change all of their identity. Thus, Eliza’s internal characteristics that have not changed are below based on the confirmation from the played.

Based on Pygmalion story, Eliza states “THE FLOWER GIRL [resenting the reaction] He’s no gentleman, he ain’t, to interfere with a poor girl.” This clearly shows that Eliza thought of Higgins as a brute to her and his perspective will never change of thinking Eliza as a “flower girl”.

The Epilogue of Pygmalion, Eliza states, “I shall always be a flower girl to Professor Higgins, because he always treats me as a flower girl, and always will; but I know I can be a lady to you, because you always treat me as a lady, and always will.” According to this, Eliza has not changed her perspective that Higgins just thinks of her as a flower, even he says “he loves her”. Pickering’s perspective of her and his action makes Eliza to always believe that she is a lady to him. By the end of the played, Eliza still thinks that she is a flower girl to Higgins forever.
Career

Based on the played, Eliza states, “I ain’t done nothing wrong by speaking to the gentleman. I have a right to sell flowers if I keep off the curb. [Hysterically] I’m a respectable girl: so help me, I never spoke to him except to ask him to buy a flower off me. According to this sentence, it shows Eliza past as a flower girl. She went out home every day to sell flowers as much as she can to get money.
Based on the Epilog
By the end of the played, Eliza still, has her career to sell flower based on the epilog. As it states, The colonel suggested to Eliza that she consider her former idea of opening a flower shop as a way to make and maintain a livelihood. As a conclusion, Eliza has not changed her job to be other than to sell flower.
Independent Living

In the text, it states “I ain’t got no parents. They told me I was big enough to earn my own living and turned me out.” Due to the text, Eliza has been living her life without anyone taking care of. This proves that she has been living independently before Higgins’ experiment.

In the text, it states “She knows that Higgins does not need her, just as her father did not need her.” From the quote, we can infer that her father doesn’t need her and Higgins doesn’t need her. So, at the end, she’s still living independently.
Technology ISPP
In the second term of joining the activity with ISPP. I got to join the Technology class, which is about Liger kid leading the ISPP or share some of their knowledge. This project is so amazing because every topic is related to technology, but one team is about exploring and playing Minecraft. So my group of five students is working on building an application that helps foreigner communicate easier with the Tuk-Tuk driver or any driver to tell the place that they wanna go without speaking in Khmer. We are in the process of developing it. However, we are really busy in the fifth year of learning at Liger so this is a great idea that we hope people could make it and publish in the Play Store. Be creative with this idea, your application will have many people use it.

Bokor Mountain
Girl Power is running our first 10-km on Bokor Mountain.
As the time count on three, I sprint a little bit. After two or three meters I realized that my leg can’t keep going because of just a few run, we have to run up the hill already. It is really hard for me to do this. As my determination, I wouldn’t give up and keep going because if I couldn’t get through this I would never get through anything that is challenging than this or more. So I keep going and remind myself “I can do it”. However, if there tomorrow, I will arrive my goal soon. On the way to finish line, one of my teacher was encouraging me. His words make me have more effort and get over the finish line with him. Our timings were the same time and even the exact minutes. It is one of my most challenging with the exercise for the first time. In addition, I will not stop and continue to do more challenges for my beautiful childish life.

Board Game 2016
Cambodia is a developing country. A board game is a game that involves the movement of counters or other objects around a board, based on Google definition. Despite, if you would ask different people of the definition, most of them will say “board game is not a digital game that we could touch and move it around.” Is this definition true? What is a game? How to make a game?
According to my research, there is no real definition of what is a game? And how to make a game. Also, many people will have many answers of different definition and steps. To get an idea of what should we start to build a game, my team has reached out to people and asked for their foundation. We get this process called “quick & dirty prototype”, which teach people to brainstorm their idea and make it into a quick prototype.
Based on, our activity of testing game and listening to different ideas of what should a game looks like, we established our own formula to help us. Which, the effectiveness of game design equal to interesting, meaningful and ambiguous decision.
By practicing with this formula, we have tried out making many games within 10 minutes. The first idea of making a game is to teach people how to make their economic stable.Week after week, we realize that the game can not be played. The causes of that are because we were added a mountain of ideas and many rules that people need to learn as the game started. Thus, our second idea is about teaching people with the perspective of how we cause to have climate change.
Currently, we are researching of the causes of climate change. In addition, we will illustrate the phenomenal theme of our game. We are hoping to collaborate with many other developers and manufactory owners.

ISPP MUN 2016
On Friday 28, October, I went with a group of 14 students from Liger to join the ISPP MUN. MUN is standing for “Model United Nation”. Where all the countries in United Nation(UN) come together to discuss the current issues. As a delegate of Kenya in Junior General Assembly 1 (JGA1), the topics are 1. Protecting animal across border, 2. Equality in access to education and 3. Largest Dam in Southeast Asia.
These three issues have been discussed from Friday night till the end of Sunday afternoon. Every delegate introduced about their country position in each topic. So each of them come up with the solution that feeds with the country position. They can not use their opinion to against the country position. This is my first time to join this conference. People were raising their hands to talk in front of everyone or asking the questions. To note down how many times I have stood up to talk is only four time, which is making a speech, asking questions and get the floor to talk about my country position.
To sum up, I appreciate this opportunity that I get to join MUN. As I joined this first time to get the experience I have note some of the points to improve. To do better next time, my first step is to search if my country position supports with this topic.
ImEx, Independence working
I have made my own application to join the competition, but I didn’t make it launch the Cambodian market yet. In this year, I use my independent time to code the application. I am working with my partner to make this happen. It is not easy for both of us to code the application because we are the beginner of coding. I did not give up on that because I code my plan in my brain already that I will make it.
I love being a Technnovation girl. It has helped me a lot with my thinking skills to prepare for the future of the app that we are making. I believe every girl could make their dream come true, if they would to put their afford in it. As my experience in Technnovaiton, it is an inspiration program to girls of joining technology and to show their talent and passionate.
My passionate with building ImEx, Import & Export agriculture product is to be a market for farmer and client. We are trying to convince the farmer to use less chemical and get a better price than their current income. So my partner and I will develop the application for Cambodian farmers and people who need better quality food from the rural farmer.

Liger Pride
It has been four years of learning at Liger. To gather all of this fabulous memory as a souvenir, my group is making a Liger yearbook. This exploration was leading by the student. To start the book each of us divided in a different job, as myself being the leader to organize everything for my team. My group works together to collect all the photo and description for the past three years. This exploration is taking two terms of exploration to finalize. As a result, at the end of year four, everyone got one. Each student sees all the childish photo of them and laugh. This is what we want. This clearly shows, our works has done really well and qualify to get a good result.

Liger 2016-Olympic
At the end of every year, our school will have an Olympic day. Which this year is the last one that will have only 49 students because our school is choosing 60 more students. I hope it will be so much fun than other time. Everything is so much fun because there are more activities. They are dance competition, whole round of activity, 30 mins competition and floor hooky winner. My group won two champions, which is dancing and floor hockey. Even I didn’t win anything, but this two activity was my favorite one. Floor Hockey makes me try my hardest with my team. For dancing, I was in front with two boys and lead the whole team. Before the Olympic day, my team would practice every night. I also scared if I would mess up my friends dream to win. So I would remember this memory forever and how much fun it is.

Independence Math
One of one Independent Discovery is math. During this time, mostly I will study in Khan Academy and math textbook or workbook. During this time, it helps me a lot because as I know people need to practice more and more with their lessons. So you will get better with it, especially be good at it every time. Also, I want to pass this message to the learner, “If you want to have a good grade, please practice the exercise over and over again.” As long as you practice it, your learning will be better enhance.
